Hi there!

We hope that you can come and experience one of the most beautiful destinations in New Zealand – The Catlins.

My husband and I have been farming sheep and beef in the reliable farming district of the Catlins for twenty years now. We have three beautiful boisterous boys; George (13), Will (11) and Sam (9) who keep us on our toes every day.

We are very fortunate to be located in an area of unique beauty. The views you see within our website are what we see every day when we are out working, which has inspired us to offer it to others.

This inspiration, the added picturesque location of our farm, and fabulous accommodation facilities all within close proximity to the magnificent attractions offered within the Catlins has encouraged us to offer an experience which will be truly memorable.

We want people to come and relax and enjoy the Catlins in surroundings of pure tranquillity with the added bonus of first class accommodation and facilities.

We hope to see you one day soon!

“We had just attended a family wedding in Dunedin and were ready for a much needed rest when we arrived at Tiromoana for a weeks stay.

On arrival, Mum and I just sank into the lounge sofa’s and absorbed the beautiful views through the ranch sliders for near on half an hour. We hadn’t given a thought to unpack our suitcases or put the kettle on, we were thrilled to just be there.

The setting was so peaceful and by nightfall the view was transformed into a star studded wonderland of aloneness, warmed by the crackle of the fire place and a hearty glass of merlot. We dined on home grown lamb and pork and the catch of the day. Our days and evenings blended into a peaceful kaleidoscope of new experiences.

Because Tiromoana is pitched on top of a hill, this house was built to reflect the earthy natural tones of the Catlins, and you feel connected to the landscape in a way you would never experience back home in the inner suburbs of Tauranga.

A truly memorable stay – saw a lot, ate a lot, drank enough and slept peacefully for 5 wonderful nights. If you need a break to de- stress this is the best medicine to recharge those batteries.”
